Happy Constitution Day! I would argue this is the first year in American history that the color-blind principle of non-discrimination has been recognized in a majority decision by the Supreme Court. It should have been recognized 150 years ago- so I argued in a colloquium talk I gave with the University of St. Thomas philosophy department on Friday. You are welcome to read it as well, in celebration of the year and the day.
