Who Should Be Sent Margaret Anna Alice's "Letter to Mainstream Straddler?"

pomocon.substack.com

As I’ve said before, Margaret Anna Alice is one of the more interesting writers to have emerged on Substack in response to the Covid/Vax Disaster.

Here’s her latest, with a brilliant title and even more profound subtitle: Live Not by Half-Lies. She begins with the relevant Solzhenitsyn quote:

Margaret Anna Alice Through the Looking Glass
Letter to a Mainstream Straddler
“We have so hopelessly ceded our humanity that for the modest handouts of today we are ready to surrender up all principles, our soul, all the labors of our ancestors, all the prospects of our descendants—anything to avoid disrupting our meager existence. We have lost our strength, our pride, our passion. We do not even fear a common nuclear death, do n…

As per usual with Alice, it’s link heavy, and no-one will have time to follow all of them, but two you should definitely look into are 1) the documentary video Anecdotals, and 2) a short one by an angry woman who believes, and I have zero reason to doubt her belief is correct, that a hospital essentially murdered her father with the required Covid-protocols and other acts of criminal negligence. Her video is the one to be found in the John OLooney tweet. Lots of other vids and links worth looking into here, esp. the Syed Haider one, but I say you have a duty to watch those two.

(I hope you’ll also notice the new estimates [Denis Rancourt] that the world-wide total of vax-induced deaths [so far] could be as high as 13 million, a number which would correlate with higher-end estimates that the U.S. number is somewhere around 750,000-1,000,000. Difficult topic to opine about given the systematic suppression of data occurring everywhere; my guesses, FWIW, would halve these numbers, but it’s important to try to keep up with the cases for the possible estimates, and yeah, even at my lower levels the numbers would still be sky-high unprecedented.)

Regular readers of PostModernConservative know from past posts that I can imagine a few people, especially certain persons regarded as “serious” or “conservative,” who should receive this letter.

And I recently noticed a substacker suggesting that even Tucker Carlson, who only intermittently reports on the Disaster, but who is usually called “brave” since he is about the only big-platform journalist at all reporting on it, is essentially trafficking in Half-Lies when you stop and think about it. The idea is that he, and the few colleagues or politicians who might be compared to him on this, are highlighting driblets of what should be the Story of the Century, but then, going silent on it for many weeks, even months, before returning to it again, as if it were not that big a deal after all.

But who do you think deserves to receive Margaret’s letter?

Who seems particularly guilty at the moment of trying to Straddle the “Respectable World” and that in which the Covid/Vax Disaster is recognized as real? Who is most egregiously guilty of asking us all, silently pressuring us all, to Live by Half-Lies?

For a fee, this guy will write eloquently about how the lab-leak theory is probably correct, and why the lockdowns were a bad mistake primarily the fault of liberals.

Haha, great question, Carl, and good on you for calling out the limited hangout specialists.

Thank you also for highlighting the must-watches as I have a tendency to overwhelm :-)

i remember reading one of Margaret's open letters and thinking wow this lady really takes it to a deeper level! I feel that the challenge we all face is so many of the people who need to look at this disaster simply don't want to because 1) it will frighten them, 2) it will make them have to look at their own arrogance and ignorance, and 3) it will wreak havoc upon their entire little viewpoint which they are deeply attached to. Kind of like avoiding a medical report you just received knowing that it will say you've only got a few weeks to live..
